As temperatures rise, it’s tempting to use more water to stay cool, but small changes can make a big difference.

For the gardeners
Put down that hosepipe now that a ban is in place, and use a watering can. Hosepipes and sprinklers can use between 500 and 1,000 litres of water an hour. Using a watering can you can reduce the amount of water you use to water your plants to a fraction of what you use with a hosepipe! -
