We all rely on electricity, gas and water on a day to day basis for various things, but for some, loss of one or more of those utility services can be worrying or difficult. That’s why utility companies offer extra help and support during a power cut or loss of gas or water. Registering for your gas, electricity or water Priority Services Register helps us to help you when you need it most. There is no cost to register as a vulnerable person on the register.

Registering for our free Priority Services is easy. You can join our register by:
- Calling us on 0800 294 3259 and register over the phone.
- Filling out our easy online form.
- Downloading and filling out an application form and sending it to us by post using our freepost address.

We will need a few things from you: – Your name; – Address; – Telephone number(s); – The reason for you being medically dependent on electricity, or vulnerable; – Any additional communication needs.

Supply interruption support
We may need to carry out some work in or around your home, and may have to disconnect your gas supply. If there is a supply interruption and you’re a listed Priority Service Register (PSR) customer we’ll provide you with temporary heating and cooking appliances within four hours to make sure you stay warm and can have a hot meal.
